Looking for some public/accessible land where I can take my son to do some target shooting before deer season.  Thanks

Ed...give me a shout regarding timing...we can take him out to range at machias.  He can shoot out to 100. If you need longer i can point the way to public land. However, with archery going you may have people in the field.

If the timing doesn't work out with H2O, let me know.  I live in Monroe and belong to the same club.

Hello neighbours!

Driving on 522 towards Monroe i can see some gravel pits on the right side behind Monroe.
Does anyone knows is it shootable there?

Closest to Monroe is Kenmore shooting range. At least i go there for trap shooting. Membership is expencive there for ocasional shooters.

Any areas close to Monroe for 300 yards plus shooting?

Tuesdays and Thursdays Kenmore range open at night for trap shooting. If someone want to go as a group let me know )

Thank you.

I think Monroe Rock owns that. Take the first Monroe exit, go under freeway, turn left , then right and go to the office and check.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

There are 2 shooting ranges between Monroe and Kenmore.   Seattle rifle and pistol @ Machias  & Everett Sportsman Club on Ebey Island.

Thank you. I think i was talking about High Rock.
Also in the very end of the Florence Acres RD (like 10 blocks away from me) there is a gravel pit on the right side.
Didn't check it yet.

That's private property and the Sheriff likes to go there and haul people off to the pokey
