What fun!  Rattle 'em in and take their picture.  That buck was probably expecting a heart shot when he saw you and was like "what the hell just  happened?"  as he walked away in disbelief.

how far did you watch him come from?  i dont think id be able to ontain myself to wait for him to get closer, i guess without a tag, it woudl be easier

We spotted him about 800+ yards out.  Wed lose site of him then hed appear on a straight line in, disappear again and so on.

Briefly describe your rattle technique. E.g. 30 seconds loud and hard then wait 5 minutes, or something like that. Thanks.
