578 late archery tag
« on: November 26, 2018, 07:16:02 AM »
Anybody else with a late permit?  Heading to west Klickitat this morning with my mobile flatbed tent camp.  Hope to finish season on a muley.  Conflicted on taking another run straight to NE corner to catch tail end of rut.  That is if they come out in daylight hours.  >:(   Good luck to late tag holders.
Economy failure = Too many people spending money they don't have on things they don't need to impress people they don't like.

Good luck. I live in this unit and would say there basically all bench bucks but lean more towards blacktail genetics. Numbers are way down in recent years but there’s certainly some bucks around.

I have a friend in the unit with that tag now... hasn't seen much yet and the frozen Ground has been loud for stalking.

I personally know of 5 cougars killed in this unit this season. 2 were problem cats taken out on our tax dollars.
