I can't seem to find the thread for recommended tires for tow behind travel (camper) trailer tires. Recommendations?

I’ll look at mine tomorrow but they are awesome and I’ve never had a problem. And I run it in some very rough country. What size trailer?

26 ft. but it has two slides so it is a little heavy. Just looking for replacement tires and was wondering what people had the best luck with. Thanks for the reply

Radials only.

I bought mine at Walmart for the plain fact, that they are all over if you have an issue.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

I am curious why not use ST (Special Trailer) tires? What are the advantages vs dis-advantages?

You want trailer tires on a trailer. The problem with pickup tires on a trailer is the sidewall stress when backing up, especially multiple axle trailers. When you’re backing a trailer, the wheels don’t travel in an arc like they do on your pickup, they drag diagonally. Trailer tires have sidewalls to deal with this.

Good year & Michelin both make good trailer tires.

I got away from most of my "trailer tire" issues by buying 16" wheels so I can run load range E tires. The 235s have been used on so many trucks AND are now being used on new trailers that were the traditional 15" tires on 6 hole wheels.

There is added stress on the sidewalls of a tire on a dual axle setup. But it's the same whether backing up or going forward.

My new trailer came with 10 ply E rated tires but it is a heavier trailer. I believe the lighter ones come with like 6 ply or C rated tires.

I went to Commercial Tire and bought American made trailer tires, 8 ply I believe. Pretty sure they are Carlisle...

I put the goodyear endurance tires on our 30' travel trailer 2 years ago. Trailer weighs about 10-11k. No issues with the tires but we don't get out as much as we'd like. We've probably only put about 5k miles on them so far. I did take the trailer hunting this year, drove about 30 miles on Weyco gravel roads with no issues.

Interesting that the manufacturers of some of the biggest most expensive RVs on the road are utilizing LT tires for their trailers

Depends on size. 14-15" wheels, you're pretty much relegated to ST tires.
I've bought Kenda Karriers for the most recent tires on both trailers we have. Both are 14" tandem axle. One set is like 4 years old now, sits in the gravel 350 days a year pretty much and gets a couple thousand miles the other 5 days, lol. So far they've been good
Other set is newer, but I'd reccomend them
