Illinois Round 2
« on: August 20, 2018, 10:26:49 PM »
Well I drew tags again this year for gun season. I bought my plane tickets this weekend. Really looking forward to it this year again. It will be bitter sweet though. My grandmother passed away 3 weeks after my last trip. I will be going for the second firearm season. My moms birthday is on November 29th so I’m going to spend that with her. She’s been fighting cancer for a while now and baring a major advancement in treatment the next year is gonna be rough. Might be a little pickier this year too, last years buck was just to tempting.

At Seatac, heading east. Weather is going to be a little warm but I should be in good shape. The group ended up with 15 first gun season between 2 counties, but only 6 bucks. I think we have 12 tags to fill between those same 2 counties for second season, hopefully we can get it done.

Good luck, safe travels and enjoy your time with your mother.  Happy birthday to her, I hope she kicks cancers you know what.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.
