Wolves are delisted in Idaho, Montana and Wyoming where populations are up to 400 percent above minimum recovery goals. Populations are also well above minimum recovery goals and state management plans in Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin, yet they remain listed due to environmental litigation.

And yet we still have the huntwa cheerleaders drooling that we hit the 15BP threshold so WDFW will issue tags, while our herds continue to dwindle..... :mor:

Yeah but let's keep hoping the wolf numbers increase right? :mor:

Just what is it you think other HW'rs should be saying or doing?

Phool I think the chances of hunting wolves in this state are slim to none.  I feel much more confident in the OIL points I have for a sheep and that's almost a no win as well.   :chuckle:

I think there's going to be some hunting, the question is will tags be issued.

A big part of the wolf plan is public acceptance, in order to have public acceptance there must be public trust, and WDFW has done a miserable job at that.

I envision a point where literally everyone will say "screw it"   :mgun:

The Colville's and the Spokane's are hunting them now. It has also been documented that a few have had the oil let out of them. One Cattle rancher had to defend himself.

But when you read that the Bio states she doesn't think they are any impact. You are  :pee: into the wind. All your doing is getting your knees wet.

I hate to use emogee but if not it get's house kept.

 Yes!

It's almost a unanimous consensus on this forum that we currently have too many wolves in this state.

We know it will take wolf numbers increasing from today's current total in order for WDFW to even consider hunting a option, a option that will not include hunting them to lower numbers than we currently have. A option that will be battled in courts for who knows how long, all the while the numbers continue increasing.

In a nutshell, we have members that think we have too many wolves, and at the same time want to see the numbers get to the point of "a hunt" being a option.....and don't understand that in order for that to happen the numbers need to increase from what they already believe to be too many.....its lunacy! :twocents:

So, exactly what is the correct answer/action???
It is better to be consistently incorrect than inconsistently correct...

CBD sucks. It should be very clear to anyone who's read that article that their goals has nothing to do with wolves and everything to do with ending hunting. That goers for HSUS, PETA, and all of the others pushing for more wolves. I think even CNW is starting to think that there are enough. This is BS. I hope the new director isn't blind to what's going on here.

I thought a bill was passed which mandated it.

I can tell you what isn't the answer, and that's hoping for more wolves!
