Seattle Coyotes
« on: November 28, 2018, 10:29:45 AM »
This is a Seattle urban Coyote with mange. Mange is caused by mites and spreads rapidly when fur-bearing animals are overpopulated. It is a death sentence causing a slow, miserable death from exposure after about 18 months of suffering. During this time predators are ravenously hungry as they hunt and eat more to try and maintain body heat. Urban coyotes get dangerously bold and hunt pet cats, small dogs, and even go after small children. Many people speak airily about "natures way" as an alternative to science-based wildlife management, as if "natures way" were cruelty free. It most certainly is not. These same people were fooled by Animal Rights organizations and voted to outlaw the foothold traps needed to humanely trap Washington's problem coyotes. This coyote's suffering is their fault

Yep.  That dog would be a quick dirthole set away from a quick bonk on the head.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

I remember seeing MASSIVE raccoons in the green belt that runs parallel to the W marginal Way in West Seattle. It is a big long stretch of timber, I wonder if coyotes lie that will harass the homeless camping in the woods?
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

I saw a Raccoon with mange near the courthouse in downtown Spokane a couple years back.
It was in the summer, and it was nearly bald. Really creepy looking.

People have a hard time disengaging their hearts from their brain. Just like the horse slaughter debate. You can’t cure stupid, or even ignorance it seems anymore.

How about you set up a cage n give it a good flea dip n maybe a breath mint. He’ll be right as rain tomorrow  :chuckle:

Study show Secondary injection of rat poison is linked to compromised immune system in urban populations.
It is my understanding that a healthy coyote will likely be a host.

Seattle is dump now,,,,,,,Could you imagine it with out their  poison..................

I had one around my house for a couple years with a bad case.  About half the hair was gone and the tail had no hair.  It made it through a winter and a summer until I shot it the following winter.
