can I buy just a point? with out purchasing anything else??

No. You have to buy the application and then submit it for points same as if you wanted to be considered for the drawing

That is how I read it. This is my first year residency in WA. So I am trying to learn.  Thanks for the clarification
Which means you also have to buy your licenses so you can even apply for the points.... sooooo, if you haven't already, open up the wallet get to handing over the money. You know you're going to do it anyway.

No problem and yeah it's a lot for a bear point but you can use the same tag/license to hunt OTC starting August through November OTC so it ain't terrible
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

License plus bear tag.
Gathering is easy. Hunting is a challenge.

Plain old hunting license which allows you to hunt coyotes and other critters.
Bear tag and permit fee are separate.

Don’t think you have to buy a small game license.
I don’t see any other license.

All a guy should need is a bear tag and a special permit application.
If you aint hunting, you aint livin'
