You can purchase general deer and elk tags. Applications for moose goat and sheep happen in April, you can only apply for one of the 3 and if you do you’ll be DQ’d from deer/elk/antelope which happens in May/early June. If you purchase general tags now and draw a controlled hunt you just swap out your tag
