One month soak in the Roy, WA area (9:40 video)
« on: November 30, 2018, 07:56:18 AM »
Found a trail that looked like it was being used a little. Threw a camera on it. No bait, no attractants.....nothing. Just a camera. I was happy to see what I saw after I got it.

Also, this is PUBLIC land.

Pretty cool! Assume pretty much last month as the amount of cruising bucks!

It’s a stealth. I’ll get the exact model when I get home.

Very nice footage.

Question:  What are you considering public land?  As far as I've seen most of the Roy area is JBLM and private.

There’s a few parcels of public land in the Roy area. onX will help you A LOT!

I agree, Tree stand location!!

I followed your product link and the PX28 they listed below it looked like a better product. Might also have enough light to capture good images of those critters walking by in the dark.

I've ran several of the Stealth cameras cause they are cheap. They seem to make it a season, maybe 2 before they die of exposure. Funny cause the $30 Tasco cheapies at Walmart have lasted me 5+ years. But they only except small SD cards and need to be really close to the target and trigger speed is horrendous. But they seem to survive and if one gets taken you only cry for the images you lost and not the camera.

$30 Tasco:

Primos looks to market the same camera but 6MP under "Bullet Proof" for more money.
