A little black bundle of fur...
« on: December 04, 2018, 05:03:07 PM »
Some may remember I lost my lab Bella on July 4th to intestinal cancer.  She has been missed.  I really missed her this last Sunday as I went on a duck hunt without her.  There’s nothing like watching your own dog work and I missed that.

Well in November I decided it was time to look to get my next generation of pup.  I got the pick of the females on a “yet to be born” set of puppies.  They had the bloodlines I wanted.  Well, the litter was born just before Thanksgiving.  5 males and 1 female.  I was asked if I wanted to wait for a litter with more females.  I told the breeder I was comfortable with this female and I am more than happy to give her a forever home.

Here she is at 1 day old.  She’s the lone black one in the first picture.  The 2nd picture is the full litter.  She will be coming home with me after the first of the year.  Look for more picks as she grows up…

Puppies are always good medicine!
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

I was hoping for more little puppy pics, we sent pics almost every week to the new puppy "parents."

Congratulations, she's a cutie.

You want more puppy pics?

I can do that!  Here's a family pic with the addition of a couple pups from another litter.  Amazing that almost all were paying attention in the pic...

  Having had litters of 7, yes it is hard to do.  :chuckle:  It's actually easy to get them to all look at you but hard to get them to not come running at you at the same time.

I think I like the face of the one with the blaze best, or star or whatever it's called....

Are any of those chocolates still available, or are they all spoken for?
Ain't nothing better than the adrenaline you get when seeing an animal in the wild.

There is a female chocolate 9 weeks old that I know a guy has. She is a cutie pie, of course what lab pups aren't?
