We talking natural disaster or some red dawn type thing?  I need more specifics  :chuckle:

I don't have any guns. ;) If you're thinking about the end.....maybe you should think about OPSEC?

Had I not lost all of my guns in an unfortunate boating accident, I would take an 223/556 AR with a variable power optic (1-4), 9mm handgun or two or three, 10/22, and a 12ga. That would cover food and defense, plus ammo for those calibers wouldn't be hard to find if need be.

Now that we know what guns we are taking, where is everybody going. Get out fast, to where?

AR10

Plenty of 308 ammo  to be acquired by any means necessary.  Capable of taking thin skinned “game” animals with authority.
The lazy do not roast any game, but the diligent feed on the riches of the hunt.

If I know you. You'd be thrilled with a Red Dawn scenario. Wolverines!

If and when....none. I don't own any. I believe if I had a moat and current on hand supplies I could enforce a wide perimeter.  7rm for longer range, 223 for closer in, ar10 for mid. Close quarters its 45acp and double ought buck.

Id for sure take my 50cal muzzleloaders... Can make your own gun powder with charcoal, sulphur and salt peter/fertilizer, and you can stuff just about anything that fits down the barrel and fire it. I have both a caplock 50 cal pistol and 50 cal rifle, but if I had flintlocks, and bullet molds then the only issue one would ever have is the ability to make your own powder, otherwise it has an endless supply of ammo that is easilly scrounged up from most garages and sheds and hardware stores.....not ideal for a Red Dawn scenario, but you wouldnt go hungry thats for sure

But id also be bringing my AR (wish I had an AK instead), 12ga pump, and a single action 22lr revolver and the 9mm

Wish I also had a 357mag like a redhawk or gp100

All my Nerf guns and a super soaker.

I made a flamethrower out of a supersoaker once. Kerosene motor oil and a splash of gasoline to thin it down a little works wonders IF you know what you are doing.... Especially if you use one of those giant ones that hold a few gallons... Easilly can get a 30-40 foot flame

Wouldn't rely on it but it will work great til the seals get eaten up by the fuel, has about a 2 week lifespan.... Not that i would know...... :peep: :llam:
