I'd guess no ice yet.

I'm hoping for hard water. There are perch that need skinned.   :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL:


Current temps say 22 but that is big water and will take a few days.

Just got out on the ice today for the first time this year. It was on a small private pond and there was around 3.5 inches of ice so I am guessing that curlew isn't quite ready yet. Super excited to get up there though. Nothing better than walking out on a sheet of ice and pulling up panfish. Well I guess maybe hunting deer in high country meadows is better but ice fishing is a close 2nd.

Enough for dinner last year.


There were folks making a drive and catching 400+ of them between 2 or 3 people. That seems like one chewed up thumb and it's not that far from the house.

Talked to the guy who drives the Rosewood colored Ford F-150 this morning said it was frozen on the edges. But says he wouldn't trust any of the stuff yet. Had been raining for the last couple of days.
