Effort to move the goalpost yet once again. Ridiculous. Put packs right in Seattle, LA, DC, Portland, Denver, New York, etc. It was all once wolf territory, right?

Kind of why I don't think there'll be a wolf season after numbers are met.  It will be delayed for at least a decade in the courts, by then wolves will really be in force.

There won’t be a Wolf hunt because the numbers are based on how many are in Western Washington.
Why doesn’t the center for biological diversity support the Woodland Caribou?  :dunno:

Good point. If they do, we certainly don't hear much about it. A search on their website shows they are on the radar, but look at their home page:https://www.biologicaldiversity.org/

It appears to be all about sueing the Trump administration and wolves more than anything else. No surprise.

Are the wolves fond of opioid users as Pike Place Market needs some thinning out. :chuckle:

Wdfw is opening themselves up for a lawsuit by mismanaging wolves. The same tactics that the eco warriors are using work both ways. Hell, one guy ruined development in thurston county based off a pocket gopher. His son is at the forefront for conservation northwest. We can use these same tactics to block and stall any attempt to stop a wolf hunt.
Wolves are the only major species that wdfw manage as a whole across the entire state. Every other species is managed based off gmu.
Wdfw is accounting based off confirmed numbers and not estimates, is any other species managed in this way? The wolf managment plans in surrounding states and the upper Midwest should serve as a model for what our state will see. Wdfw should be able to use these plans to estimate when we can start managing wolves in wa.

The oversight and corruption done by wdfw with the wolf managment plan is enough to drive a guy nuts. I'll just have to sit back and wait till the times right and then find a attorney.
