Recomend a DSLR
« on: March 22, 2009, 08:05:40 PM »
I am considering taking the dive to purchase a DSLR camera. Do not want to saw off an arm to afford one. Are the Canon and Nikons with the "kit" lenses that you see under 1000.00 worth buying ? Looking to use one for scenic and basic wildlife shots for my own personel use. Not looking to make a living with one, just to step up from my compact and have some fun. I have about two years of community college photo classes and used the old slr's in a past life. { before raising a family } so I know some of the technical aspects of photography. Is digital that much different than film ? Would classes be needed to get up to speed ?
Can't we all just get along?
