Mass but I love a tall rack too even if it's spindly. Never really got excited by width even though I know that's supposed to be the standard to go by. I kinda like those closed in basket racks

I have the perfect buck for you JP.   I photographed him about 10 years ago.   I still think of him often.   I shed hunted hard for his bones, but never found them.

Courtesy of Antlermatch.com :chuckle:    Back in the day of the little point and shoot.  Id kill for a chance at a buck like this with my camera today.  I think he was one of my very first "Calendar bucks".   Back when 100% were from here in Washington.

Mass. But my biggest weakness is eyeguards, especially on Blacktails and muleys, another weird quirk is color. I love dark antler color, mix those two together and just leave the tape at home I will be happy!

I like any buck...guess I'd prefer height over width, but a well balanced combination of all thee would be fine with me.

Nice pic Bone! I love that buck. Reminds me of the big blacktail I shot at last year with my bow. Hit a limb haha. Not really funny though. I actually didn't put any effort in to finding him this year until later in the season just because I want darker antlers. He is narrow, tall, dark and has eye guards. Still haven't seen him this year but passed a real nice heavy tall 3 in hopes he will come around. Found one of his sheds while looking for him though so it backed my guess at 143''.

That buck is AWESOME!

I'm going with mass on this one because that usually means he's old/mature. A buck can be wide or tall but that doesn't necessarily mean hes old. Its very seldom you see a young buck with mass. At least in my experience.
