Usually the ""7.62 Russian" is the 7.62x54R.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/7.62×54mmRThe 7.62x39 rarely gets referred to as the 7.62 RussianI just looked at a Howa Mini in 7.62x39 today and it looks like a nice little rifle. I shoot a 6.5 Grendel in a Howa Mini which is a former wildcat 6.5 based on the 7.62x39 case.
I am confused??? Isn't the 7.62(x54R) Russian as in the Nagant bolt gun? The 7.62x39 is primarily found in SKS and ak47 variants?? 2 completely different rounds.
