SALE - Leather Pet ID tags for invisible fence collar
« on: December 13, 2018, 02:03:16 PM »
I finally got motivation to act on one of my many backburner projects and I thought I'd share it here in case there were a few other HW members that might be interested. Full story below the picture.

This is a laser engraved pet ID tag for use on an invisible fence collar.
It's made of 100% leather, so it's non conductive and won't interfere with the fence signal or short out if it accidentally touches the business part of the collar. It also works great if you're looking for an ID tag that doesn't rattle or make noise. Please note you do need to remove the buckle and thread this tag onto the collar since it does not have rings or clips like other ID tags.

This is made from natural toxin-free vegetable tanned leather which is light brown in color and ages to deep burnished brown.

It measures approximately 1.25" wide by 2.0" long with 0.8" tall cutouts to thread the collar through. If you need a different size I can do that too, just message me and let me know what you need.

Price includes shipping in the USA, plus now through January 2 get $2 off using code HW2018 at checkout
Purchase through my website at the link below:

Full story
My wife and were driving home and found a lost dog running around on the highway a few miles from our house. We pulled over and called to her. This sweet lab came right up to us, tail wagging. We could see she had a collar, but unfortunately it was an invisible fence collar with no info on the how to contact the owner! My wife grabbed a leash out of our truck and we went to talk with all the neighbors in the immediate area but nobody knew her owner. Fortunately this was also close to the local humane society and they were able to find the owners quickly and reunite the dog with her family!

Our doggy also has an invisible fence collar (she's an escape artist, nothing else kept her from getting out and ending up in the road). Fortunately she never broke out... but now she finally has a dog tag with her name, our phone number, address and email on all of her collars.
