Maybe a little more accurate piece than what 60 minutes spewed

There are a "few" good people left there but the transplants and Liberal retirees have really screwed it up WITH the help of the Feds and their eco-buddy's(Sierra Club, MVCC). x3 on what bone and timberfaller said, back in the day it was hunters, fisherman and sportsman that a lot of the local businesses depended on for that "shot in the arm" during slow times or that last cash intake before the long winter would settle in. I have noticed the change over the last 20-30 years, really starting with the opening of the North Cascades Pass. The valley was really comprised of Ranchers, Orchard owners and Forest industry folks and the small businesses that supported them and their familys and those times of the year when the hunters and fisherman came they were treated very well and welcomed, like timberfaller said, "There are a few good people left there" but its slowly changing folks, the old guard of the valley is disappearing and more and more anti-hunting folks are settling in. This last summer I don't think I have ever seen so many out of state Lic.plates, ever! I seen plates from Maryland, Vermont, Connecticut and even New York to name a few but the most out of state plates I seen didn't come from our close neighbors like Idaho, Oregon or Montana they were from California, and a lot of them were out looking at properties with Realstate folks in tow, heck we seen a ton of Cali.plates over there during hunting season and even the few weeks prior and after. It won't be long when whats left of the hunters who still choose to chase around what few deer are left over there are treated like dirt. They will be looked down upon and be looked at as Neanderthal period animal killers. The way this valley is filling up with liberals and antis mark my words, it won't be long, and like a few have said, they love their wolves and as more and more are moving in as the old guard either moves out or passes on, trust me, this valley will become only a memory of the hunting Mecca it once was 20 and more years ago, its well on its way and has been for years now and whats sad for some of us with rich history there, is we know it can't be stopped. I for one still have my stories and pictures from friends and family going back to 1917 and I have my own personal memories and stories going back to the 1950,s. I like a few others on here remember and experienced the hay-days of not only hunting the Methow but also when it was just a real neat place to be, live and grow up....
