I'm a bird hunting noob and haven't been able to get out much this season, but I'm thinking about trying my luck for turkey this weekend. This would likely be my last hunt in the state of Washington before I move out of state.
Is it worth it to take my daughter down to the Blues? Is there much opportunity down there? What types of habitat would be ideal? Finally, are there any other opportunities down there that I could also pursue while turkey hunting, like grouse for instance?
Any advice or PMs that could help would be great. It'd be nice to bag a turkey for Christmas for my last hunt.
