1st Duck hunt of 2019...
« on: January 06, 2019, 07:13:47 PM »
I get a new pup this next weekend so I will not be hunting then for sure.  Well see how much more hunting I get in at the end of the season.  I hope to get in a few more hunts, maybe get a few teal that can I skin out dry and wrap around a few training decoys to get her a taste of her future as my hunting partner.  Anyway the first hunt of 2019 for me and my hunting partner was a dandy in the Snohomish valley.  We got on some quality birds.  The migration is definitely on...

That's great. Hardly a bird on the east side of Ebe last Friday.

Birds are stacked in the sheet water along Home Acres like cord wood right now. A little canoe would get you some nice access to ground with a bunch of birds on it off the pheasant release site.
