My taxi mounted them.  Had him do both of these sets of whitetail sheds that i found this year, and this set of moose paddles a couple years ago.  The paddles arent very big, but they were in perfect condition, and i wanted a nice set of paddles mounted like this.

I still want to get an elk and muley set of sheds plaqued up,but havent found the right ones yet.  Need to be both good sized and not chewed up.  I looked all over trying to match this sucker up for that purpose but just couldnt find the other side.

Do it, then post them up.  If you just pile them on with a bunch of others, theyll just blend into a jumble of bone.

Van Dyke's Taxidermy sells a good product, the elk shed connector.  They have some good antler kits that look good too.

The year old set of sheds i found the other day, theyre somewhat bleached out, but not bad.  Trying to decide, to stain or not to stain?

Don't stain. Not sure if you've tried staining antlers before but it drives me nuts when people do. Unless you're just needing to blend in a tiny area (like a spot on the bases from doing a euro mount or something) it always looks obviously stained and crappy...IMO. I'm extremely picky about antlers though. I can spot stained antlers 100% of the time and that's not what you want. I mount a lot of game every year and there isn't a single thing wrong with those!
