Blaze Pink?
« on: January 02, 2019, 07:17:38 AM »
Ok, I must admit I don't have a problem with Blaze Pink as an alternative to Blaze Orange (But I am a little concerned about you younger fellers that are still testosterone driven.)

But, I have to ask...what is the point? Is it just a "why not" moment? or are we again caving into sexism in this supposed genderless world? Has the fashion world invaded our precious world of manly-man hunters? Are the feminine(both men and women) just taking over? Are the young "huntress" having an identity problem?

Help me out here, young Nimrods.

My wife hates the color orange.  She has said she would wear pink, though.  I myself am just too conditioned to associating hunting and blaze orange.

Archery hunt, problem solved
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

Pink is much more visible in the woods than orange. Why shouldn't it be allowed? I don't like the government dictating the color of our clothing but if they're going to, at least allow the people some choices. The only state allowing pink that I know of is Wyoming. Are there others?

Colorado, Minnesota and Virginia.  Arkansas allows fluorescent chartreuse.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.
