I like blaze orange, instantly recognizable.  Plus, I don't have to upgrade my colors for the new fall fashions.

I don't know enough about pink. Does it glow in low light like blaze orange? It always amazes me how bright blaze orange can appear in heavy fog and low light.

Should be mandatory for any hunters that still vote as a democrat in this state.   :chuckle:
Well to be fair, not all of us can have the same fake tanned orange skin tone as 45.  You guys love orange. :)

I think it works a little better (maybe).  For my flagging tape, I find the pink a bit easier to find than the orange.  This is in heavy timber on the westside.  Just seems to stand out a little more in the moss and shadows.  But....I find my homemade blaze orange duct tape markers work better than the pink tape.  I have yet to try pink duct tape though.

If it gets more people into hunting and supporting our rights, I'm all for it.
I need just one more hunt and I'll be satisfied ... Really! Just one more...

They made it legal out here in Colorado too. I wouldn't say I'm against it, but I find myself asking why? What does it really matter if your weaing orange or pink.  Hunting isn't supposed to be about fashion or how many likes you get on facebook for looking cute while hunting. If you are truly hunting for the joy of the hunt and the love of being outdoors then why do you really care if you have to wear orange and not pink? In my opinion blaze orange has somewhat become a symbol of a hunter and I'm proud to wear it.

Since this is purely to promote women into the hunting world in Washington, I am all for it as it is a recruiting tool which we desperately need. As for blaze orange or pink for safety, remember the fundamental rules of firearms: "Know your target and what is beyond it. Don't aim at anything you are not willing to destroy/kill. Keep your finger off of your trigger until you are ready to shoot. Treat all guns as loaded at all times." If we lived by these rules then there is no need for any clothing requirements, but since there are idiots out there I am all for having the option to choose which color and if it helps recruitment of hunting then even better...and for what it's worth, the US Air Force did a study for which color shows up best in fog/low light and it is chartreuse (or slime lime as we called it back in the day) which is why airport fire trucks are chartreuse.

I know quite a few guys that use pink fletchings on thier arrows because it is the easiest color to pick out in the fall.

In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.
