NEED a Barred rock chicken ( Yakima )

 Got a call this morning while I was in town . Apparently my 7 year old found her favorite chicken dead ( our dog killed it and was carrying it away ).  She's devastated this was the first chicken of the 4 she raised from chicks that was producing eggs.  I told her I would find her another Barred Rock. Anyone around Yakima know where I can find one ?

 :yeah: We had a hen we thought the owl's got show up with a dozen chicks 2 weeks ago.

Wish you guys were closer. If I can't find her one local i might have to broaden the search.

After talking to her more today she's not dead set on a Barred Rock. She just wants another friendly chicken.

Are you still looking?  I know some people that are selling hens of various breeds in the TriCities.
