Powered case trimmer? Need input
« on: January 03, 2019, 02:00:18 PM »
I've got a lot of brass to trim and I've got 3 different hand trimmers and I'm tired of it. So I'm looking at the powered options. I see the Frankfurt arsenal and the hornady lock n load center.
Are there any others I should be considering?
The Frankfurt is half the price of the hornady but uses a different setup that looks more difficult.
Any input would help.

are you able to clamp a hand drill onto any of your trimmers?  I used one on a Forster to do a bunch of .223.

I have a Lyman and rcbs hand trimmer. I am going to pick up s inline cordless screwdriver to power one of these hand trimmers.

I also have a butt load of brass to trim and it will not be by cranking a handle by hand.

The Frankfort is pretty sweet. As soon as I was done with it my friend went down and bought the same one.
Way better than the old hand crank jobs I've been using.
Cant believe I waited so long to upgrade. I did the same with powder scales
