I'd be willing to bet if asked whoever did this will say that they needed the free meat to feed to their family/families.  I would also bet that they have other items that they spend money on that could be cut before stealing our resources.  Cigarettes, alcohol, starbuck's or whatever.

Exactly after a late night of poaching they don't have time to make lunch the next day so they stop at the quickie mart for a yoohoo and and a bag of funyuns that are way overpriced but convenient.   :bash:
