To many people talking about it... 
too many shakers being caught.
i was out last saturday and didn't run into a single shaker, and came home with our fish..BUT
Everyyyyone i heard back at the ramp talking to the counter was going on and on about all the shakers they were catching.
the closure sucks, but also if people are reeling up 10-15 shakers in the course of a day..how many of those are going to survive after being drug behind the boat for 15-20 min?
i wonder if they'll re open in march or something..
