:yike:  That elephant took a lot of lead.  The hunter didn't take a lot of time to settle and make a good shot after the first one.  I started to feel bad for the elephant after the 3rd shot.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

It didn't look like he settled down to make a good first shot.  The angle that the elephant was at on the first shot was practically straight away.

I figured Phool would be all over this one? I think he shot 10 times? I didn't count them. I read once a guy shot nine times in rapid succession at a Hippo and it broke his molar in half!!!  :yike:

Remember elephants may have a huge head, but it is a very tiny window to get to the brain.  The hardest part is determining where the aiming spot is.  The PH told him to shoot the first time.  I agree, the follow-ups were too hurried. It would be interesting to learn where all the slugs from his head shots ended up.

That guy needs to learn how to shoot... just cause you can hit the head doesn't mean you're gonna put it down...  Great video on what not to do!

Also, is that a standard bolt action?  Doesn't quite sound like a normal bolt recycling a shell...   :twocents:

Anybody that doesn't carry his own weapon isn't worthy of being called a hunter.  This guy is a moron
