Get a room
« on: January 20, 2019, 07:11:28 AM »
:chuckle:  Odd place for a roadkill, but I'll take it. Got lots of funny look's getting it from there to my rig. Backstraps and heart for me, dog food from the rest, 100% meat useability.

Another drive-by shooting in the hood?

Or are you sure it didn't die from eating slug bait or road salt-chem? Doesn't look like an area where it would be a

There have been three deer hit in Wenatchee city limits in the last two weeks (that I know of).  Most recent was about 2 hours ago.  All were low speed and I assume salvageable.  The one a couple hours ago the deer may have walked off....WDFW were on scene and evaluating the deer.

Great find and good eats!!!  If I was not working I would have drove up and checked out the one WDFW was on.....if they had to dispatch the animal it would have been crazy fresh.      Glad these deer are not going to waste.

This one was hit by a truck within a minute of when I came by @ 5am, was still there at noon when I got off work.  :IBCOOL:

Typically if one needs dispatching within city/populated area, WDFW will dart it=not edible, they did one last year across from Red Lion. A week or 2 ago one was hit (broken back) on 5th st. by the college, supposedly they actually shot that one with a service weapon, but hard to beleive that with close proximity to lots of folks

Seen one where it was killed by a neighborhood dog yesterday.  One of our members video’d it all.  (East wenatchee I’d guess)

Wenatchee. LE did finish it off after it had already impaled on a gate.
