Anyone know why different bills come up when you try to research specific bill numbers? And the numbers don't match up on the numbers from the NRA website either.

Some times they are house bills some times senate bills i know the first one i posted up was in regards to the state senate. some times they dont have the same numbers

make sure you are searching the correct year

I posted on the virtual campfire that the US supreme court has agreed to hear a case out of New York that could affect some of these new laws.  At the least I think it's promising that they appear to be willing to hear this kind of case now and hopefully will be a friendly court for us.

I saw that too, best time in a generation to get 2A cases heard, hopefully a bunch will come up.  I can't imagine NY's not getting thrown out, you can't have a loaded gun outside your house.  Hopefully clarification on that as well as not treating inside or outside the house differently (right exists everywhere except few places that are specifically limited).
