The first time I looked at the post I didn't see any photos. It's a lot funnier now that I can see them haha.

Reminds me of a time 5 or 6 years ago some game wardens stopped us and did the check of everything. One guys, who seemed new, asked me what we shot again and I said something like 4 mallards, 2 wigeon and a goldeneye. He had the goldeneye in his hand and said well I don't see a goldeneye anywhere so where are you hiding the rest of the birds. His partner looked up from checking my buddies licenses rolled his eye and said let's go without checking my license. I think he was embarrassed for his new warden haha.
It is, unfortunately, not uncommon. I had one that did not know what an eclipse drake Pintail was. However, he admitted he was not great at duck ID and was cool about it.
