Lost forgotten black back pack update

Few weeks ago i posted about me going target shooting and about a back pack that i forgot around eastern wa ,selah wa.so today i was on facebook market place and i noticed this guy had a foxpro speaker for sale with out a remote,i msged him and asked him about it and i offered to him to meet up because i believe he has found my backpack i even offered him some gas money or an award just so i can get my stuff back and the stuff that was in there.he refused to meet up and few minutes later he blocked me and took the add od the market place,i took a picture of his add and his facebook profile ,my question is should i contact the police or what you guys think about ,its just odd that he posted just the speaker without a remote which i still have and he blocks me and  takes the add off the market place

I think I would call the local LE just for some information.  I just can't imagine finding something of value and trying to return.

I think what you posted would be enough for him to return it. I dont know how busy he is but it speaks a volume  about his honesty. an apology usually goes a long way to healing bad feelings.
