Its not bad.  Simply prepared its Comparable to a good blacktail I’d say.  I’m sure there are ways to make it taste great.

Flavor was great, meat was incredibly tough.  Only animal I've ground backstraps and tenderloins.  Excellent burger though.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

Flavor was great, meat was incredibly tough.  Only animal I've ground backstraps and tenderloins.  Excellent burger though.

I ground up everything and turned most of it into pep sticks. I saved some backstraps and probably should have ground it all. Mine had a pretty strong gamie flavor which I happen to like.
