Steelforce Broadheads.

Anybody on here used the the Steelforce heads? Particularly the "Phat Head" or the "Titanium Bullet".

I am in the process of figuring out which heads to use for this season. I am leaning towards the Titanium 145 grain head.

When you are pulling over 80 lbs draw it's difficult to find a legal setup. Shooting that heavy tip would get me legal by about 10-15 grains.

In response to Hoytss I spoke with Joe at Rainier today and he said the same, They don't fly so good.

My quest for a heavy tip that will fly continues. I might have to go with a 125 gr. I guess.

Not to hijack your thread, but I wanted to give you another option.  Look up the Silver Flame broadheads.  He'll have the weight you need with the performance to back it up.  Don't let the price scare you away, though.  These are for those who only want the best.

you can try heavier inserts i think muzzy makes them for most arrow sizes, then use a 100 or 125 head.

There are a lot of pictures of european hunts with wild boar,Roh deer,Fallow,Sika, and red deer in there.

Broadheads look pretty sick. I guess with new technology in bows(speed) it makes sense that companies will start to manufacture heavier broadheads.

I have never shot the steelforce so I am not qualified to say much about them but I have shot Magnus Stingers for years and they are awesome.  Plus they have a no questions asked lifetime warranty.

OH I didn't realize your fish and game stuck their noses that far into your ars, I mean sport we have no regs on our arrow weight in Montana.

What about putting a cresting wrap on your arrows.  I believe that some of them out there will add 10.2 grains for each wrap.  If your looking to be right at legal weight it could be something to check out, without adding too much weight to the front of your arrow.

Gold tip makes weights from 10-50gr, or you might have to get some different arrows with a higher GPI and leave them at uncut length.

yes i have used the steel force heads before and they did the job out of my recurve.  I shot a cow elk with that head but the head is very weak and they break very easy.  Now i use tight points just my
