Not even a woman?  I am guessing many of the guys on this site have already spent that much on that sort of animal, whether she be wife, girlfriend, ex, etc. :chuckle:

I've only been a long time fan. Since I saw my first photos in the 80s and got up and close to a 60" brute lifesize mount at an early FNAWS show, they've run through my imagination. I've got a couple good Asian sheep videos and I tend to like the Brittingham video because of the life stories and the old footage of those pioneers making trips over there in the 60s. Just amazing.

For me, it's the Altai Argali that is the most inspiring. Those monsters are somehow special to me and have even found their way into my artwork.
May the morning silence be broken with the wisp of vanes trailing blades to their mark.

BC CHASER, why are they not allowing him to bring it back into the country?  If he has all the cities and paper work.

Does not matter if you have the permit or not.  Just like you can shoot a polar bear or a cheetah but good luck getting it into the US leagally!

Thats what I don't understand if the animal was taken Legaly I don't see why the U.S should opose it from coming into the U.S as long as it has all the proper documents.

Hey guys if you don't have the $$$$ for the hunt you can pick up a cast skull of a really nice ram for about $3300!

There are many sub spieces of marco polo sheep.  Some are bigger than others. Argali is the sub spiece that has the biggest bases.  The marco polo sheep hunt I filmed in dec. the guy that shot it still has not got is horns back yet but they are on the way.  The topic of marco polo or desert sheep.  I personally would go for the desert.  You can find some desert hunts for around $30 to 40k but they are not going to even hit the 150 mark.  A sheep is a sheep.

There's an atlai argali and a marco polo both mounted in the Anchorage Sportsman's Warehouse.  They are ridiculously large.
