What’s the best Tripod for heavy optics,cameras that is still reasonably packable? I have Outdoorsman’s, looking for something to handle heavy optics.....

Really right stuff tripods are very solid and sturdy. Not overly compact but pretty light

The Slik 700 is the best tripod for what you've described if you already have the Outdoorsman. Cheap too. :twocents:

I can run one down some night if you'd like.
