Odd Idea
« on: February 03, 2019, 06:59:56 PM »
An idea just occurred to me and I thought I’d check in.

Have you ever heard of or seen someone attempting to make a decoy of themselves while predator hunting?

That is, rather than hiding, or trying to blend into the background, then ambushing after some misdirection, have you heard of or seen anyone attempting to wear colors and create shapes so that they appear to be an animal that might be interesting to a coyote?  Maybe a deer?

Any stories or history you guys know of?  Any thoughts?

I know of a brush picker that disguised himself as a bear during bear season.

Yeah, you'd have to do all orange and off-season to even see if it worked, wouldn't you?  :P

You'll end up setting up a blind in the living room, it'll be a whole thing.

Hopefully a bear will make sweet love to him.

Really tired of seeing bushpicker trash.

I used a red hankerchief to toll an antelope in.

I dress up as a guy that doesn't have the right tag.  Gets them interested every time, practically have to beat them off with a stick.

That’s a great idea, if you want people shooting you. :bash: :yike:
