Remington 700 Youth ADL to BDL Conversion
« on: July 24, 2020, 06:34:22 PM »
My son and I are converting his Remington 700 .243 Youth ADL to BDL and I have a question for anyone that’s done this.

We purchased a new stock, hinged floor plate and trigger guard. My question is, will I need different screws?

Perfect, thanks Jerry. I did a search but couldn’t find a video that said specifically that I needed a new front screw.

After receiving all the pieces I finally got it finished, it took about 5 minutes and worked out well.

I didn’t need the new screws I ordered, the originals worked just fine, I’m assuming it’s because the new stock is a factory Remington Youth stock as well. :dunno:

I’m now going to send the bolt into LRI for fluting, skeletonizing and Cerakoting like the last one they did for me.

Sent the bolt out to LRI for them to work some magic again and it arrived today.

If you don’t mind me asking, how much does the work on that bolt cost a guy?
