Back from Bottom Fishing Westport.
« on: March 28, 2009, 05:10:05 PM »
Took my eleven year old granddaughter down to Westport yesterday to do a little bottom fishing. We had a blast!! It was Savannahs first time out on the "Big Water" and she did fantastic. We caught our limits of sea bass and then we kicked over to a couple of other spots to target Lings. I lost one and Savannah didn't get any on. The Lings are off bite right now, but the boat was able to catch 7. There were ten people on the boat.
I just love being able to take my grandkids out whenever I can. Savannah was so stoked about the trip. On the drive home she made it a point to ask me if we could go again. She said she couldn't wait!! I think she's hooked guys. :)
