I'm guessing a rear naked choke was involved!  :chuckle:

In all seriousness, I'm glad to hear the guy fought off the cat and survived.
The best friend a guy could have asked for. RIP chasing pheasants in heaven Denali girl.

Crazy! My neighbors wife and friend were walking down the John Wayne trail between thorp/Ellensburg recently and had a cat walk 25 yards in front of the across trail. They seem to be getting very comfortable around people these days

As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

This article says he suffocated it:

:yeah: That's the only logical way to kill a cat barehanded.  Thankfully felines are pretty susceptible to quick strangulation
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Holy smokes!!! This guy officially has the most gangster story ever!!!!! All I can think of is trying to hold onto a house cat that doesnt want to be held onto  :yike: :bdid:

I agree. That guy is a savage and should never have to buy a drink again.

Thats what I was thinking too. Even if it was only an 80# cougar that's damn impressive.  I used to think the guy in this story was the most gangster, but he didn't kill his so he gets bumped to 2nd place.

And Idaho not wanting to be outdone...  :chuckle:

Short version...wife holds lion and her dog, yells for hubby to come shoot lion.  Now that's an idaho woman!

Exactly! A 3 pound kitty cat is a real handful if it wants to be!

That's a bunch of flying claws and cats can pretty much reach anywhere they want no matter where you have them by.
