I’ve got my 10 year old shooting a Hoyt ignite. Really nice bow! My 13 year old is shooting my wife’s diamond and that’s ok

Nice.  My boy, 7 at birthday, draws at 18", and the Genesis mini, at 2#, is 4" shorter and 1.5# lighter than the standard Genesis.  He'll probably start at near the 6# starting draw weight.

Red is getting my Damon Howatt 26# recurve set up, too, so I can begin with him.  I am pretty excited.

PERFECT!!!

First session today on the Genesis mini.  Glad we went with the mini as 6# is about right, for starters.  Second arrow, the boy got his first bullseye, and he about burst out of his skin with pride.

We both did about 12-15 arrows, the first for both of us.  We were pretty stoked, but the boy was getting fatigued and sloppy, while it was getty busy in there.

I have nothing but great things to say about Red and Camo'd Arrow.

I picked up a Mission Radik for my 10 year old. She really likes it and it is adjustable in half inch draw length and goes up to 50 lbs as she gets stronger. It’s set at 10lbs now and she does great.
