Nikon prostaff 3 x 9 with a BDC reticle and you still have money left over. Great scope, great price.

hey Hunt...if you can find one of those in the 250-350 price range, i'll take 3. i think your choice is a little rich for the original poster's blood.

Leupold, I have Bushnell Trophy scopes also and I took two of my rifles out on the range last Wednesday,  It was hot so I shot one than changed to the other one and I tell you my $300+ Bushnell trophy is garbage compared to the Leupold VX-III

Dude, if you paid $300+ for a Bushnell Trophy....well......I don't know what to say.

See if you can get your $ back.

you can get a real nice leupold of craigslist for that price. I missed out on a VXIII 3-9x40the other night for 250, some one beat me out by $10 in the last 11 sec. Best thing is, if it shows up all jacked up you send it to leupold and there transferable warranty covers it.

In that price range, I would shop around for a used VariXIII.  I have picked up a few VariXIII's for ridiculously low prices on the internet over the past few years.  They have a great lifetime warranty.  If you can't find one, I would buy the nicest VXII you could afford.  You can't go wrong with a Leupold.

 :yeah:

Ditto... I was a little confused about a "$300+" Trophy.  Hopefully, it was a typo.  If not, you got ripped.

Nightforce Scope - Best scopes on the market.  Heavier than most scopes.  Cost is over $1000.  If you want a scope that will last forever and not change POI then this is the only scope you should consider.  ALL OTHERS WILL CHANGE POI.  Go to www.nightforceoptics.com

This is what I use for hunting.

I just saw a couple Leupolds on CL for 175-200 (used) can't go wrong with Leupold

As I have recently been in the position to have to purchase a scope, I have 3 rifles and one scope, I did a bit of research, and it all said to not buy BSA  ;)

I ended up with a Leupold VXI, 4-12x40 for my 300. It ran me $259 + tax. It does everything I want and came at a good price. Do I know that it is not a VX2 or 3, of course, but it was a choice I feel confident in. I wanted a scope with a touch more magnification than a 3-9 but with the quality behind it.

I picked up another of ebay for 223 shipped this week also, it will go on my 243.
Never, ever let Creed hold you baby, it will ruin it and you will have to get another.

Yeah, what's up with that? Ya better cough up some hunting info or photos or you are sure making your scope company look deceptive...
