Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

LOL, yep... I used to tell new folks to the outdoors to do the following if they come in "too close for comfort" contact with a predator:

1.  If you see a cougar, jump behind a big blowdown tree, then reach up with your hand and scratch the top of the log calling "kitty, kitty, kitty"... When the cat comes close enough, bonk it on the head.

2.  If you see a wolf, grab a stick (perhaps something 12" long by 3" around)... throw the stick and say "go get it boy".  When the wolf brings the stick back to you, bonk him on the head.

3.  Lastly, when you see a bear... simply place a picnic basket by a blow down log, hide behind said log, and when yogi comes over to steal the picnic basket, you know it.... bonk him on the head  ;)

Another tactic is sticking a piece of packing tape to a cat's back will immobilize and paralyze their legs and they'll just collapse like a rickety old folding table deeming the legs useless. Heard that from a friend  8)

That's right up there with, if you pick up a Guinea pig up by its tail their eyeballs will fall out and if you sprinkle sail on a birds tail they cant fly.

Isn't that baiting?   :chuckle:

Baiting cougars is legal, probably because its generally considered to not be very effective.

That cat was just looking for a place to rest after killing a herd of deer.

A guy named Tim might have thrown that litter box out after a trip to Office Depot.
