Those polymer guns are like the Toyota Camry of the gun world.
Some people think they're great, some people think they're dull, boring, basic, overrated.
Pegasus, if you think the Walther PPQ is the finest pistol you've ever fired, somebody needs to get a nice 1911 in your hands.
I'd say they are closer to the F150. Rugged, reliable and gets the job done.
I've shot a high end 1911 and I have to say I wasn't impressed. Yea it had a nice solid feel but with a fully loaded magazine the weight is a bit much for anything but side carry.
I have a subcompact Glock and I'll be the first to tell you it isn't a great shooter. But I'm not looking to make clover leaf holes at the range with it. It's for concealed carry and in a IWB holster I don't even notice it is there.
