Missouri Breaks Archery Elk
« on: February 25, 2019, 09:58:05 AM »
being that we struck out in Wyoming for elk, plan B is to hunt Montana, if we can at least draw the general deer/elk tag. We have 5 elk points and want to put in for one of the breaks hunts but not sure which one. If we don't draw, we would most likely hunt the the general tag area we did last september.

631 or 632
It is foolish and wrong to mourn these men.  Rather, we should thank god that such men lived.  -General George S. Patton

632 was my initial choice as well. I just hope that if a stroke of blind luck hits us and we draw, we get dry weather and not have to fight the gumbo!

631 is a bit easier to draw if you are really wanting a tag this year.  You have a great chance at either unit, but higher odds in 631.

Good luck!

I honestly don't care about odds because they are all a crap shoot and suck, especially being that we have a back up general place to go. First order of business would be to draw the general tags anyway.  :o
