Thanks for the info guys. I am looking to replace my Weatherby stock. My gunsmith friend in AK uses them but says I will probably have to check the bedding for sure.
Oh Weatherby - that really limits your options. Mcmillan had one I know but not sure the others do.  If Vanguard/Hogue some options but Mark 5 not so much.

Manners does inlet for Weatherby Vanguard. I have one in the T2 model
https://www.howlforwildlife.org/take_action  It takes 10 seconds and it’s free. To easy to make an excuse not to make your voice heard!!!!!!

Question
I have 2 Rem 700's, 1 is the XCR2 300wsm and a custom 7mm mag. How can I tell if the stocks are composite or recycled water bottles. I have been looking at the Grayboe stocks with dropbox for a  upgrade. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Fliesitdies

It's usually pretty obvious when they are the plastic POS stocks.  They're generally very light and you can twist/flex them with your hands fairly easy.

For a relatively inexpensive stock, but still a pretty good piece, you can usually find like new HS Precision take offs for $225-$250.  B&C stocks will often look very similar but I don't think they are as stout as the HS Prec.  McM and Manners, both, make a top notch stock but their prices ranges start at double and go up from there.  Also, unless you buy a used one or luck out and find one in stock somewhere, you'll be waiting 3-6 months minimum for a McM or Manners.  They have a lot more options for sizes, shapes, and colors too though.

I like the McMillan better then manners but my McMillan stocks are heavy.
Just cause of the models I have picked I know they make lighter ones.
Fit finish and feel are top notch.
