Just got word that I am officially out of it this year.  I missed the deadline to purchase and to submit.

Now that they are done catering to my complaint they can get back to work on the draw.

Draw should be run about a week later than normal on my account.   :sry:   :chuckle:
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Since the Kapowsin access fee went from the $100 to now required to buy the $300 full access I called and made request to change my kapowsin permit request to just a point. Will see if it happens. Don't want the stupid permit now. I guess I should have looked at the tree farm regs prior to applying. I hope it gets changed and allows someone else the opportunity to draw their "dream" tag.  I will just go to Ideeho and buy over the counter if I really need a spring bear fix.

Its totally highway robbery what Hancock did with permits this year... not only did they dump the reduced spring bear fee of 100$ and are charging 300$, they took away the family pass so now EVERY adult entering has to pay for a separate permit. They should absolutely loose any and all tax breaks they get if that is how they are going to treat access... its absurd!!!
I could care less about there tax breaks.
Tree farms should get told to pound sand on bear tree damage intell they decide to open access to spring permit bear hunters.
No more bear feeding stations
No running hounds for spring bear.
Intell they grant access to spring bear boot hunters.

You want to mandate how private landowners how to mitigate damage to resources on their property? Boy, that's a great precedent to set.

That precedent has already been set.
I'm not mandate anything ,The spring bear hunt is a damage hunt for bears that are peeling or just to lower poulations to reduce damage.
If a private land owner has tree damage and doesn't allow access then that's there problem not WDFW.Private land can allow spring bear Hunter and get some benefit to tree health,or they can suffer tree damage. In the near future it will be a decision they can make.

Have you heard that you can lead a horse to water but you can't make em drink.
You can give out thousands of bear permits , but if timber company's don't allow access it does no good for tree damage. :twocents:

The private timber company just then have licensed trappers come in and kill off as many as permitted by the WDFW.  It gets taken care of behind the scene.
When I see support for programs like this , all I see is lost oppertunity for hunters.
Hunters are supposed to be used as a management tool and has been pushed aside by programs like this .Wasting taxpayers money for wildlife mangement they can get for free or make our state money through permit programs.
Cougar quotas-
Wolf hunting
Otc spring bear seasons
Coyote bounty
More open seasons on predators that we don't have can be linked back to programs like this.
They kill over 100,000 animals a year,at a cost of a 100,000 million in tax payers money I don't agree all the while taking hunting and trapping away from the average Joe.

You guys are killing me with this discussion.  It's civil, interesting,  and includes valid points.  This topic is for speculation,  taunts about draw odds, and adults exhibiting a lack of patience.

MINE SHOWS SUBMITTED!!!!!!!!!!!!
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

I made a decision to absolutely not check results until I know for certain that they are out. I'm counting on you guys to inform me with quality and accurate information when this happens.

A certain member, I won't name names, but its H20 oriented.... tried to get me to check earlier with a false text saying results were out. These kind of shenanigans won't be tolerated!

It was close. Glad I checked the Huntwa results board first for confirmation. Everyone was still acting sane so I figured I was being bamboozled. Too bad this is a family site and cant share the same GIF I sent you.
