My longest camera soak yet!
« on: March 06, 2019, 02:16:01 PM »
So I was excited to go get my trail camera today.  I had left it out for nearly a month.

I got 2035 pictures of a tree branch that was pushed down by the weight of the snow in front of the lens!!!   :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL:   :chuckle: :chuckle:

Well at least you know with certainty what that tree is doing and when. You have it patterned. :chuckle:

Oh man! I’ve had that happen too! So excited and then the let down. Haha. Take a saw next time and whack that branch off for future soaks

Also been there. Underestimated the rate some grass grows. Cleared area in front of camera, left it a few months, first month or so, pics were great. Final month, grass had grown up, filled the card and burned out my battery.  :yike: :chuckle:

Been there done that. Even had tree shadows trigger mine a lot.

Yes!  :chuckle:

Even though I was hoping for better pictures, I am just glad no one stole my trail camera.

Mine have been up for 2 months yesterday, hoping to get to them tomorrow. Keeping fingers crossed they are still there and have good pics.

We have all had these results  :chuckle:. If had penny for every blade of grass or bush or branch that showed on our cams I would have a LOT more cams!! It is still just a lot of fun! You will know better next time or the next or....

The trail cam jitters :chuckle: I remember not being able to leave my trail camera alone for more than a month. Now I only check once a year maybe twice if there’s something worth it

COOL, once I got 850 pictures of the wind moving the trees. Then some A-hole stole my camera.
