I will probably order up some Underwood 180 XTP and 200 gr XTP to see what my gun likes.
Has anyone tried the XDm? Thinking real hard about this one, or the SR1911. The common XDMs (9 & 40) have a great track record for reliability, but a lot of 1911s do have issues. I’ve owned the G20 & G29, and I’m not a fan. Liked the EAA Witness the best, but it was too heavy.

I would also get some softer recoiling JHPs if you plan on doing any urban carry. Gets you back on target faster and fewer concerns with over-penetration. The softer stuff is also a lot easier to shoot one handed. Hot 10mm is good for bear protection but I wouldn't carry it in a crowded area.
